Captain Aaron Beatson had nothing but good reports for the inshore bite this last week, including a 5 pound Spanish Mackerel citation! Nags Head had some killer Puppy Drum action for his anglers using cut bait and also trolling with spoons.

The offshore action is looking solid as the Mahi fishing has been producing large numbers over the past week with Wahoo in the mix. The Wahoo bite picked up out of Hatteras this past weekend and hopefully will continue into the next few weeks as well.

Big red drum are producing a good bite at the Virginia Beach pier up to the 40 inch class this time of year.  That East wind has really been in our favor this week, pushing those drum right up to the pilings at the pier.
